Ontario G1 Rules Test

The Ontario G1 test is a written exam designed to evaluate a beginner driver's understanding of traffic signs, road rules, and safe driving practices. It is the first step in Ontario's graduated licensing system and is required to obtain a G1 license. The test consists of two parts: one focusing on road signs and the other on rules of the road. It typically contains around 40 multiple-choice questions, with a passing score requiring at least 80% accuracy in both sections. The test can be taken at any Ontario DriveTest Centre and is available in multiple languages. Successful completion of the G1 test allows new drivers to begin practicing on the road with certain restrictions, such as always being accompanied by a fully licensed driver and avoiding highways
